Ricardo Ramalho, the resident manager, is a graduated performing artist and curator, with more than 14 years of experience in the artistic field. At the moment he is taking a masters degree at Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto, in Curatorial and Museology Studies. He can help you in many ways for your artistic career development, and provide great tips to enjoy the best side of Porto.

Portugal is a major touristic destination for europeans, because of its food, wines, landscape and weather. Porto is also a logistic base for Ryan Air and Easy Jet, two of the biggest low cost companies that can take you almost anywhere in Europe for just a few euros.

The program:

A resident artist can choose what to do, there is no obligation on doing any kind of artistic work. You may produce your art works during your residence, or just relax and chill out.
During your stay you can talk with Ricardo Ramalho and discuss all kinds of art related issues anytime. You can be sure you will not feel isolated in a hotel room with boring staff, but will be our personal guest.

Canditates:

Artists are welcome, and others too! If you are an art lover, an art collector, a curator, or just interested in learning more about art, stay with us for a while. Guests may be accepted based on their curriculum, or a Letter of Intent.

Costs:

We charge just a contribuition to help with house expenses. You can use the kitchen and enjoy the living room.

With breakfast included and a private bedroom:

132 euros for three days ( 44 euros/day)
160 euros for four days (40 euros/day)
210 euros for six days (just 35 euros/day)
350 euros for two weeks (just 25 euros/day!)
450 euros for a month (just 15 euros/day!!)
